Foundation stone of multiple development works laid in CUET
The foundation stone of several development works has been laid in Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) under the project titled 'Development of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology' as part of infrastructural development. CUET VC Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam inaugurated the foundation stone laying work on Tuesday (December 7).
The development works include a 10-storey residential building for professors, associate professors and equivalent officers, a 5-storey residential building for second class officers and 3rd class employees, a 10-storey studio apartment for assistant professor, lecturer and equivalent officials and a 3-storey medical center. Pesh Imam of CUET Central Mosque Hafez Maulana Qari Nurullah led the prayers at that time.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Dr. Sunil Dhar; Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Hasan; Registrar (Additional Responsibilities) Prof. Farooq-uz-Zaman Chowdhury; Director of Planning and Development (P&D) Professor Kazi Delwar Hossain; Chief Engineer Sirajul Islam and other heads of departments, directors, center chairmen and heads of different offices, branch heads and other officers and employees of the university were present during the laying of the foundation stone.
